Most Meaningful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
We had an awesome day here today! It was such a relaxing time with many sweet surprises throughout the day:) One such surprise was how meaningful the new tradition we started for the girls this year was. After the blessing we went around the room and each gave one thing we were thankful for this past year...it was so incredible to see God at work and moving in each of us! This was the single, most transforming event of the entire day...we are so grateful God for where you have placed us and where you are leading us! We give you all the Glory Lord!!
We had 14 people (including our family of 4) ...Dad, Mom, Papa, Rick & Jan, Carl & Darlene, Grace, PJ & Tiffany. The menu was wonderful...Turkey, Corn Casserole, Salad, Corn Bread Dressing, Shepard's Pie, Sweet Potatoe Puff, Homemade Garlic Cheese Biscuits and Cranberry& Orange relish and Cranberry sauce. Fruit & Homemade Dip w/crackers as an appetizer. For dessert...Cracker Barrel Pecan Pie, Key Lime Pie, French Silk Pie. Everything was Great...thank you all for coming over to share this day with us and for all the wonderful food you made! We had such an outstanding day today...we enjoyed every minute of the day with all of you!! Kevin, Dian, Brian, Katie & Laura we missed you all...wish you could have been here... :)
God Bless you all...Have an Awesome night!!
This is one of the girls favorite movies...Chestnut!

I know this picture doesn't look very appealing! However, I tried this new recipe called Sweet Potatoe Puff and it was awesome and loved by everyone...even Madeline!!! The best part...it was so easy!!

Mia...she's so proud of her work!

Normally, we pull out some games to play like Cranium, Dominoes, Balderdash, Scene-it...something along those lines. This year we decided to color after Madeline laid down a pile of coloring books for us to all color a picture for her...how could we resist??!!! It was very relaxing:)

We were all pretty focused ... :)

Then Roy gave Carl some pointers on playing golf...he is wanting to learn how to play real soon with his co-workers. Roy is an awesome golf teacher and we will head out to the range after church tomorrow to have some fun practicing and listening to our teacher...LOL...I love you Honey and I know you will help all three of us tomorrow:)

The girls wanted to put up their tent and it was Bently's first time in one...he made himself right at home!!

AAAHHHH...he is such a great dog!!!

So sweet!!!
