Here are our newest additions...3 goldfish named Checkers, Ginger & Goldy!

The girls went to Tampa with Grandma this past weekend and won these at a church carnival. Daddy & Mommy were very surprised to say the least!!!

Playhouse Disney Live!

Through the Foresters, one of the insurance company's my sister & I have a policy with we were able to go to this with complimentary tickets!

They used to love watching these shows on Playhouse Disney!

Magic Game

We had the opportunity to go to the Magic game and bring along some of our friends & family too. The insurance company I have a policy with allowed me & 8 others to attend for free including food & drinks until the 3rd quater!!

The kids loved watching these guys on stilts...it was amazing watching them dance on those things. They were very tall with these...hard to tell in the pic.

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring is such a beautiful time of year even though it can be tough on the allergies. The bright green leaves are rapidly coming out on our big oak tree in the backyard. It is so encouraging to watch the new growth as the seasons change. God is so good!! I am captivated by the beauty of His creation...I am especially drawn to the simple stuff! ;)

We enjoyed watching this squirrel at breakfast the other morning as he "broke in" to our bird feeder. Roy moved it out far enough from the trunk of the tree, out of his reach to freely munch away. So he cleverly managed to open up the top and scatter it on the ground instead...lol!! :)

When I think of spring, one thought that comes to mind is being at a park with a pond full of ducks to feed. Then taking a stroll around the water on a path surrounded by tall, lush trees and bright & beautiful flowers. Yesterday we spotted these ducks at a pond in a parking lot...

There weren't any flowers or interesting paths to walk...but three cute ducks who were glad to see our girls arrive with goldfish to share with them!! :)

Then the seagulls arrived and that wasn't fun for anyone...

until they left and enjoyed a few more bits and posed for this pic...just for fun!!!

Time for Refreshing...

This past Monday a friend of ours treated Roy to a day of fishing. They headed out about 5:30 in the morning to catch the fishing at first light over on the Banana River in the no motor zone. They had a nice day even though they didn't bring home any fish. This area is right over next to the Cape. Wasn't this a beautiful morning? So peaceful & calm...Roy & I love to spend time on the water. What an excellent location to start the day off with your quiet time with the Lord too!

It's Been a While...

I was quite surprised when I looked at the date of my last post. It has been very busy around here over the last week or so. Molly, our puppy was spayed and we have quite the recovery to undertake...14 days with a cone (e-collar) on her head and telling her not to run, jump, play too much!! Not exactly a recipe for fun...for her or us!!! The girls & I wake-up with the countdown...9 more days, right??!!!

Last weekend we went to visit my Grandpa who was in the hospital a few days and Praise God he is doing better now!!!

We have been diligently lifting our friends from church up and their little boy Asher who had open heart bypass surgery at only 16 days old. God is so good & faithful...I invite you to visit their blog with updates on their journey...it will minister to you as you see the healing work of our Lord. The last ten days or so have been chaotic yet in the midst of all the craziness the Lord has really slowed me down and gotten my attention. There have been some areas that are out of balance in my life and yesterday was an incredible day of breakthrough for me. I was in a cycle on the home front of mismanaging my time with day to day things, schooling & de-cluttering our home. I am extremely guilty of spending too much time on the computer! This week aside from getting updates on Asher...I have stayed off of it. Yesterday was so productive and I had such a peace...the one that passes all understanding! :)

Our God is so Good...so faithful to see us through the many seasons we encounter. I am so thankful that He is always there...never leaving or forsaking us.

Girls Day Out!!

These beautiful ladies & I had a nice afternoon of fellowship together. We enjoyed a late breakfast at Cracker Barrel, went to the mall & bookstore and had ice cream at Friendly's. We even had a time of devotion at the bookstore! God is so Good to bring such wonderful friends into my life...I Love you guys!! :) It was so wonderful to hang out and I am looking forward to doing our newest book together...Warrior Chicks!
