An Afternoon Shared with Two of my Best Friends!

Kawai invited us over for some girl time...we all needed it, I think! She served us an awesome lunch and we enjoyed this time of fellowship so much. Thank you Kawai for everything...the girls had a wonderful time too :)

Here is Lee...she always keeps me laughing and is a spiritual mother to me...I am so grateful for her in my family's life! She has been so Faithful and seen me through a few BIG challenges...the Lord has used her to teach me many Awesome things in the Word! Love you Lee :)

Madeline took this picture of us...so it is not the most flattering angle!! We don't have many pics together though...so I won't be picky!!

This is Kawai...she is such a Faithful Friend and gives from her heart so much... in so many ways! She has blessed my family & I... over & over again :) We have known each other for about 4 years now and our friendship has overcome many things with the Lord as the center of it! She is a steadfast prayer warrior for me...Love you Kawai :)

Here is our BIG music lover in her element :)

Scooter time...

...this is actually the first time they have been on one! They of course, loved it!!

A little time to exercise :)

They had fun in the girls room...they didn't have such a big mess this time to clean up either!

Helping Miss Kawai make the juice...so fun :)

This is Eustis, their sweet puppy!

This is where he hangs out when he gets too rowdy! He is a Louisiana Catahoula...I hadn't heard of this breed before...he is an awesome dog though and great with the kids!

More Unpacking...More Treasures!

We are still busy at it...and have quite a while longer to go... :) I did get some of the clutter off the counter yesterday and lots of laundry put up...Hooray!! It has been cold here the last couple of days...even if it is warms up some outside, the house stays so cold...this is not fun!!!

Here are the pictures we received to put in out bathroom...Argie used to have them in her bathroom as well :)

It's nice to not have bare walls in there anymore...I love that they all coordinate too!

Here is a close up of the one above our toilet...

these are above the tub...

this one is above the hamper

This was the newest treasure that I LOVE...the little eggs hanging down from the knobs of the draw. They are so pretty...you can't tell by this picture the colors and coating that is on them.

A Busy Weekend...

Saturday was a busy day. We picked Roy up at work to take him to the airport...he was flying to Mississippi to drive back a moving truck with things of his Mom's the following day. We were a little early so we decided to stop at the mall first. We then had a party to go to at a friends that afternoon and we stayed over at Grandma's. Sunday was even busier with 2 meetings, church service and class/Awana later that evening. We have stayed very busy yesterday and today unpacking and going through things.

Catching Up & Rearranging...

We have had a busy week at home...school, lots of laundry, cleaning & rearranging furniture to different rooms. We will soon be inheriting furniture from Roy's Mom...the girls & I decided to make room early!

We moved the girls dresser and bookshelf out of their room...

the guest room is clean & free from the clutter...

the guest room now has a dresser!

The schoolroom/playroom now has a bookshelf...it is cool to see now that one side of the room looks like a school room and the other side looks like a playroom!

This is my BIG helper

Sweet little school girl...Mia
