Happenings at Home...

We have been spending our down time at home lately...playing games, watching movies and now that it is beginning to cool off some outside...taking a walk & hanging out on the porch!

You'll see why Roy is so happy below...I love this picture of him...I forgot to include it below!! :)

Late night Daddy/ Daughter snack...cereal!

Mia was already sleeping...Mommy was tucking her in and couldn't resist this sweet picture :)

It's time to make peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies...yeah!!

We are ready Mom...let's go!!

Big sister goes first...

Just had to roll them into balls...no fork to flatten them out this time.

Mia didn't care for the greasy feeling from the peanut butter :)

It still is a bunch of fun though...especially dressing up!!

The finished product...gluten free, no flour.

Here is where that BIG smile came from...the bag is up!!

Roy can get this thing going so fast...

...it is fun just watching him!

I love to watch the different expressions on his face :)

He trained me tonight for the first time to try it out too...it was frustrating at first, then I got hooked!

This is a great shot...I Love You Honey!!!

It is so awesome to see such JOY on your face! :)

Family Fellowship!

We figured it out that it had been a year since all of us had gotten together. It was such a great day and the the conversation, laughter, food and games were such a treat! We missed you Brian & Katie. Darlene, the spaghetti was awesome!! Thanks to you both for hosting such a wonderful day:)

Carl & Darlene- our happy & helpful hosts!

The girls with Uncle Kevin, Aunt Jan & Grandma...the 3 siblings. Uncle Kevin brought this cool game for the girls to play...Bently was enjoying it too!!

Sweet Simba :)

Justine...she's coming out of her shell :)

Bently trying to snag one of the bean bags from Madeline!

Uncle Kevin & Aunt Dian- they live in S. Florida so we don't get to see them as often :(

Mom & Dad

Papa(Daddy to the 3 siblings, Grandpa to 5 & Great Grandpa to 2) & Uncle Rick (Jan's husband)

My cousin Laura who I haven't seen in so long...we have all missed you!! The girls had so much fun with you :)

Darlene, Laura & I

Grace & Tiffany- Carl's Mom & Sister...we missed seeing PJ this time

Aunt Jan & Mom- Sisters and Best Friends :)

When game time started...some chose the TV games...

...this crew chose Cranium! It was so much fun seeing everyone perform :)

This cake was beautiful and reminded me of the Fruit of the Spirit...love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness & self control.

The girls were tuckered out on the way home...

Mia fell asleep before we even left! Although she was up at 4am that morning telling Grandma she was ready to go...is it time yet??!!! She was so excited to see everyone :)

Carpet Cleaning!

We decided it was time...actually overdue for us to clean our carpets. We decided to do it ourselves to save money. It was alright, afterwards we would have rather had them done professionally to really get them clean. Someone had suggested to us to use Oxyclean as the cleaning product in the steam machine...we would not recommend this :) Lots of residue and it doesn't appear to be all that clean. For now it will be just fine though! :)

Here is some of our stuff stacked and packed into the kitchen...

...the girls loved having the whole family room floor to play on and I love my helpful husband...He is awesome and so good to me!!

Lunch and dinner were picnic style on the floor...the girls had so much fun and were pretending that we were in Hawaii :)

OK...we're being quiet...

...it is so hard to resist these wide open spaces to play though :)

Still waiting for the carpet to completely dry before moving the big furniture back in. In the meantime it is time to build a huge tower! :)

Our Eyes Were Open To Spot...

Our way over to Mom's getting off the toll road we spotted...a coyote! Along the fence line toward the center of the picture.

This little snail was on the walkway into Mom's house :)

Cute little squirrel that shared a fry with us at the Backyard Burger!

Beautiful sunset we are so blessed to see each night!

One more that Mia took the picture of...with a front moving in. Welcome FALL...we are so glad you are here!!
