Family Fun On A Fall Day!

Mom, the girls & I went to the Christian Film Fest and saw The Secrets of Johnathan Sperry. It was very good, the girls really loved it too.

Here is Mom with Gavin MacLeod ("Captain" on The Loveboat), He was the star in this film playing Johnathan Sperry. He did a wonderful job with his role. My Mom was a big fan of the Loveboat...I must admit, that I do recall watching that show many times as a child!

This is a movie coming out in December, I believe? The girls loved the giant sign of the cute lab!

A visit to the Cracker Barrel Country Store :)

This was the evening we all went golfing.


On our Family Day last week we wanted to enjoy the nice weather at the park & playground. Our intentions were to pack a lunch and go to one in a nearby town. We wound up having a big breakfast though so the lunch idea was out for that day. We still wanted to keep our promise to the girls so we went to one locally. It was really nice out and they have a nature boardwalk that leads to a beautiful view of the lake.

We saw many cow spiders that were very upsetting to Madeline. She had wanted to turn back and opt out of this adventure :)

They have a great playground there...it is all wooden.

Once we made it out to the view of the lake...it was beautiful!!

Wow...what a view! The only way this could improve would be... sitting in a rocking chair or be on a boat!

Blessed On Such A Beautiful Day!

Mom treated us to golf yesterday when Roy got home from work. There was plenty of time for 9 holes before the sun set. We had a great time...the weather was nice, overcast and the course was beautiful! We saw some wildlife, the girls & I were the drivers & scorekeepers for Daddy & Grandma. Thanks Mom- we had so much fun...it was so nice to be outdoors!

It has been over a year since we have been on a course...the girls love to go golfing!
