We were excited to get started early this year so we could have a cushion to have more time off either at Christmas or for going out of town for mini getaways throughout the year. The girls are both learning cursive this year...I am trusting the Lord with that!!! It is going to be a great year and I look forward to watching them as they grow & learn so much!!!

This was at the end of our first day on Monday with some of their work posted on our 'new addition' to the schoolroom this year, the bulletin board!!! I really wanted one of these last year...God's timing is perfect though :)
It was a great day and I feel so very blessed to have the opportunity to stay home and do this... I pray that it is something I will never take for granted!! :)

I couldn't help but smile because the girls look like they are wearing new clothes. I hadn't thought of that, but I guess that just because they are home schooled doesn't mean they can't have a cool new outfit for the first day of class! LOL
