Our quiet day at home...

Lunch w/ the doves!

Momma & Poppa

This is Momma checking me out at the window...she is not as timid as the Poppa.

We are having a nice day at home with a few storms that were quite heavy at times yet, fun to watch too! Right before it started to storm we saw one of our backyard buddies...it was the Momma squirrel going to eat before the rain came...she was too late, the winds started and the feeder pole was swaying too much in the wind so she ran back up in the tree. A little later on her & the Poppa squirrel came down and here are the pics from their lunch with their friends...the doves!!

About a week ago, Roy built a 'squirrel house' for them. The girls didn't want them in the rain during a storm :) We think they have some babies up there too...we can't wait to see them!

Daddy's last day of training...our fun afternoon!

Always arguing over who rides w/ Grandma!

Daddy's putter works for me!

Never hurts to get some pointers!

What a swing...look at that left arm, so straight...I love my husband!!!

There is something about this hole...I love looking at it!

They are so sweet when they want to be...:)

Free entertainment at this course!!!

Here they are w/ their babies!

Training is finished and Roy starts selling on Thursday...Yeah!!!

We went golfing when he got home and Grandma came too...she loves to golf! It was a nice afternoon...just warm & humid a bit from the rain. We saw a few bunnies on the course and cows with their calves...they are so cute!! We didn't see the gator today though...maybe next time.

Roy loves to golf and he is a great golfer. For the girls & I it is an outdoor adventure looking for wildlife...we can't get enough:) Madeline & Mia are looking forward to their future golf lessons with their Daddy though...they want to "really" play! Their Grandma can teach them quite a bit about this game too!!

One avenue for this blog on my heart is...

I would really love to have a list going of prayer requests & praise reports. If you all wouldn't mind posting them and I will keep track and have it ongoing especially when the Lord turns them into a praise report for us to all rejoice in His Faithfulness as we pray & intercede on their behalf. We'll put first names only.

I Love Sundays and what they represent...time with the Lord & Family!
This was our first Sunday with the season we are coming into without Roy at church with us but, we know we are to Worship the Lord in all things, right!! Roy is in training and about to be released into Sales at Hilton Grand Vacation Club...we are excited that the Lord has opened this door and we have had a fun & faith building year with him being self employed...he will still continue the business on a part time basis. For those of you that don't know and are local it is called...

The Extra Mile Company- a small home improvement business offering services for Interior/Exterior Painting, Handyman, Hurricane Boarding, Pressure Washing, Mold Removal,
Remodeling & Renovation.

We hope you all had an Awesome Sunday:)

First day of blog...Wow...What a day!

Look at the pretty sunset...you're almost done Honey...Love You!!!!

The girls were so good and such great champs today! Since we had to stay home unexpectedly. they had fun in the playroom most of the day...they love to color :)

Well, we had fun today and got our exercise early too!
I spoke to a friend yesterday and was asking who cleaned her carpets. As I knew we would need to do this in the near future. Late this morning we were doing laundry... thankfully Roy was home and while he was studying in our room he got up to find water pouring into the carpet very rapidly from the laundry room into the hall. When he opened the laundry room door he had to walk in 2 in. of water to turn off the washer! From that moment we ( Roy, Mom & I )
used every towel from our bathrooms to keep it contained where it was and then it was Wet Vac time with the neighbors vac we borrowed. Thanks for all your help Mom!!! Roy then replaced the hose that was a problem. God is good though...at first the washer would not do anything...then it ran but would not release the water. While Roy was gone I prayed over it and it released the water in the spin...thank you Jesus!!! I must say the carpet looks much cleaner in that doorway now :)

I did it...I really did start a blog... to my own surprise!!!

I wasn't sure about this...I do have peace now though:) This is a great way for us to stay in touch with family & friends and share pics of the girls growing up. It is also going to be helpful to share our experiences with homeschooling both of the girls this year! I look forward to what the Lord places on my heart and how this blog will be used for that in the future. It is really neat that comments can be left and we can email that way too!I look forward to all your thoughts & comments soon...Love you all:)
