Catching Up...Again :)

We have had a busy couple of weeks, time is flying by...even on the days we never leave the house! We have been managing very well as a one car family, the house "To Do List" is getting shorter (thanks to my hardworking & faithful husband!) and we are enjoying the order we are seeing in our home. The girls are working very hard in school and we are so proud of them :)

The Lord has also been busy at work in our hearts, cleaning out...getting rid of the junk & clutter that gets in the way and becomes such a distraction. The stuff that makes it more difficult to hear HIS voice. We are in awe of what He is doing in our lives, our children, our marriage, our families & friends. God is so Good!!!! His grace and His provision, His love & Faithfulness is more than enough...more than we can contain or receive sometimes! One thing that is for sure...our lives when intertwined with the Lord are never boring and are never in lack!!! We Praise our Almighty GOD, our Savior & Lord, Our Comforter & Counselor...to Him be all the Glory!!!!

The morning after Madeline pulled out the last of her "two front teeth"!!

Marketplace at Disney...a little time to hang out before getting Daddy at work...yeah!!!

The garage is really coming along...Roy has been working so hard in the summer heat!

This is the most we have seen of the floor in there since our first year in this house...4 1/2 years ago...thanks Honey, I Love You!!! It looks Awesome :)

Busy at work with the Favor of the Lord!!!

This was a little picture Mia made for me the other day when I was in bed with a terrible headache and Madeline brought me a cold washcloth when I felt nausea coming on. They took such good care of me!! They even asked "what are we going to do if you get sick and Daddy isn't here?" They are so sweet...so cute with their concern :)

Here are the pics they made for me...Mia knows Mommy loves the fall with all the pretty leaves and Madeline drew the washcloth I was needing and our bed! What Mom could not feel better after this kind of care?!!! I Love you Girls!!!

What We Have Spotted In Our Yard Lately...

We have seen 2 turtles, a cute little bird on our feeder and today...the black racer (not excited and it is not cute at all!!)

Today when we saw this one, it had a very interesting twist. The girls noticed earlier that 3 lizards were hanging out up higher on the window. This usually means a snake is in the bushes... we have been observing and have come to this conclusion. A little later I hear "MOM, COME HERE...A DIFFERENT SNAKE IS IN THE BUSHES"!!!! When I got to the window I got a quick look, not long enough though and no picture before it went back down in the bushes. A few minutes later..."MOM I SEE A BIG ONE"!!! The first one I had never seen before and the colors/patterns concerned me even though it had to be very young, skinny, etc. The second one was a black racer and when I got to the window it was in the process of swallowing I believe the first one we saw?? I could not believe how fast it happened!!! In a way I was relieved that we see the black racers occasionally and that it took care of that snake (in case it was venomous). On the other hand I just really do not like snakes of any size, kind...period!!

This past week this little guy was crawling through the yard looking for water...it seemed like it could smell the water in the bird bath? The girls wanted us to go get the kiddie pool and put it in there!! :)

We have a small bird feeder so I was so excited to see a little bird on it that could fit and still stay on it & eat...it was so cute!

This one was in a neighbors driveway down the street about to cross the road!

Family Day...Hmm, What Could We Do?

What could we do for family time this week?? We had to go do our monthly shopping at BJ's and the girls said they really wanted to go by Bass Pro Shop after. It was a nice day to just relax and not feel rushed to be anywhere!

Sunset Sunday evening...so awesome...

no matter how the day goes sometimes...what a gift from God to see the beauty He created and to get our eyes in focus, back on Him :)

We had lunch/dinner at Zaxby's and when we drove out through the Target parking lot we were thrilled to see a lot of ducks by this pond...there were so many you would have thought you were at a park!

As soon as they heard or spotted the manager at Zaxby's coming out the back door with the stale bread they flew off...

...we then understood why there were so many hanging out in this parking lot :)

Entrance at Bass Pro Shop

These gliders are so comfy!

The girls found the kids section this visit :)

Now the trying on of hats begin...first the mens dept...

We thought this would be a good choice for doing yard work

I'm in...where are we going!

These were my favorite ones!

Mom, I could have worn this on crazy hat day, right?

We also saw the shooting arcade...it is really cool...too dark for the camera to pick up though!

I can already picture them hunting with Daddy...LOL!!!!

We had so much fun in this area of the store :)

After this, Roy was trying to figure out when we could get out of town and get into the woods...all four of us for the 1st time!! :)

They sure do love their Daddy...that is such a blessing to my heart!

They had to go upstairs :)

Of course, they could not leave without a picture on one of the ATV's!!

It was a great time and it amazes me that it was free :)
