Part of Madeline's seatwork time today was to draw a picture of her favorite pet...even though we don't have a pet...she drew a dog...one day she'll have one:)

She had an awesome day with Phonics...still lots of review, but she does so well with this subject! Today it was short vowels & the one vowel rule...anyone remember what that is...those without little ones?!!!

Tomorrow we are off to a family field trip at Sea World...it is supposed to be a little cooler and 15-20 mph winds...that will be helpful! I know I said we were going to wait until fall but, we are only 4-5 days short of it!!! We are all looking forward to the break and quality time together:)

Not So Well Sunday!

We decided to stay home from church because Mia had been very congested the last few days and had a cough start the 1-2 nights before. She is feeling way better today and I guess the cough was from the drainage at night in her throat. I had a scratchy throat and was scheduled to work nursery...not a good mix!!! God is Good though and we are healed in Jesus name:) The girls & I got a lot done at home and had a nice evening with Daddy! We had some Praise & Worship at home even though we couldn't make it to church:)

We got a call from my Dad asking if we could help him get a recliner home that he was buying. It was in the town we live in. So the girls and I went and he took us to lunch at a new restaurant that opened called Texas Roadhouse. It was good and I am still stuffed from over 4 hours ago!

Now we are home and I am catching up on computer stuff from this week. Roy is napping, the girls are busy doing many things...a little coloring, sewing, fort building & right now it sounds like dress-up in their room!!! After this post I will be heading to the BIG Mountain in our family room AKA...the clean laundry pile on the couch!!!
